Personal training for busy adults who want measurable strength, better movement, and coaching that fits around real life.
FORGE Fitness is run by Marcus Taylor, a Cert IV trainer with 12 years on the floor. The studio opened on Crown Street in 2014 and focuses on coaching people who need structure, accountability, and clean technique.
Every client starts with a movement screen, goal-setting consult, and baseline lifts or mobility checks. Programs are written week to week, not pulled from a template.
Strength, fat loss, return to training after injury, and prep for events like Hyrox, City2Surf, club sport preseason, and Tough Mudder. No contest prep, no crash dieting.
Choose the goal first, then the training format. Each stream includes a baseline, weekly progression, and simple reporting so clients can see what is changing.
Build the big patterns safely with a coach watching tempo, range, and load selection. Baselines are retested every six weeks so the program has evidence behind it.
FORGE reports outcomes in plain training language: body measurements, attendance, benchmark lifts, range of motion, conditioning pace, and pain-free sessions where relevant.
Office worker returning after a back flare-up. Built from goblet squats to barbell squats while tracking pain-free range.
Two weekly sessions, simple protein targets, step floor, and weekend planning. Weight loss paced to keep training quality up.
Hyrox prep with sled exposure, threshold intervals, grip work, and weekly recovery checks before event week.
Select strength, fat loss, mobility, or sport prep so Marcus can prepare the right screen.
Tell us whether you prefer 1:1, small group, or online coaching after the first session.
45 minutes in studio: movement screen, baseline work, and a coached sample block.
Leave with the right starting option, weekly cadence, and first six-week progression.
